OK, I'm back, at least part way. Have Lyme Disease (spread by ticks)
and am on a regimen of antibiotics etc. to try and get rid of it and the inflammatory arthritis that came with it . sigh. I am ready to applique Anna's quilt plus. I worked on some of the pieces and had to hide it from guild members who were trying to steal. Imagine that, an 88 year old master quilter trying to steal Anna's quilt! Next she'll be on my door step "for help". I'll get a photo for sure to post when I reveal Anna's so you can see two instead of just one, or maybe three. My gd and I will be painting skies today and then to choose the color of the dress. Fun.

Applique, I hope you will be feeling better soon, take good care of yourself. Elizabrat , I have the quilt you made for me on the bed in my sewing room (hey, you never know when the nap urge may strike, plus it is a good place for the cats to nap, too) and I agree with you, these quilts are very special. I hope KGoodhand will love hers when she gets it.

I went through that back in 2012 - got bit by something at a campsite and ended up at the doc-in-a-box since we were on vacation in NC (we live in MT). The doctor took one look at the bullseye on my arm and I ended up on a 45 day regimen of keflex.

Make sure you keep to the antibiotics - if you don't kill it now, you'll end up with a lifetime of misery from it.

I am so sorry to hear about your lymes disease. Both my sister and nephew got it. He was over it for the most part in 30 days she ended up having a nurse come to her home to give her IV treatments daily for 2 months. It took many months to get rid of. I have a ton of deer who enjoy the front yard. I am so scared to go onto the lawn no thank you! so lovely as they are do NOT get close to deer or their habitat where something they love to rub against might hold the ticks that can seriously cause you such hardship. I will pray that you heal quickly. Its a tough thing indeed. AND STEALING IDEAS HERE? OMG WHAT A NEW CONCEPT (lol). I think its .. ok. its a compliment to other quilters that you loved their work so much you wanted to do it too.

OH NO!!! Tis the summer for all of those creepy crawly bugs to come back out and reek havoc on our lives. I hope you get feeling better!!!

Glad to see the chatter. Please don't mail until I have confirmation from both partners that y'all are finished.

I plan to beat this bug to a pulp one way or another and when I walk the dog I will have a tick collar around the bottom of my long pants. They are in trouble now!
My partner is going to be sending me the last part of her quilt and it will only take me about a week to finish the assembly. Meanwhile the 88 year old quilter is getting her pieces together so she can make one too! Then we can have a real show and tell here including my original which two of my sisters provided pieces for. One of my sisters has passed so it is a very special quilt for me.

    Hello, MDQuilter!

My daughter is coming to visit today for a week. First thing we do is finish your blocks. She can iron while I sew. Only have 15 tiny logs to finish and then we can put it together. With the both of us sewing and ironing, will have the top done by the weekend also. So looks like the two of us are right on schedule.
