I have to quilt a babu blanket very soon, lake opener is his weekend and when you take 2 days away from sewing time just seems to run away.

my best friend emailed me on Thursday that her Dad had stomach cancer, he had gone in with flu like symptoms. Turns out he poor man had The flu and another infection raging through his body. Six days later he passed. Will go to the lake tomorrow in hubby's truck. I will drive it back early Saturday morning to our house and switch to my car, drive 30 minutes to the review and funeral then drive back home. Switch to the truck and drive back to the lake. Nancy would totally understand if I didn't go but in my heart I know I need to go

So sorry to hear that Terriamn...sometimes the death of a "friend" or someone not related is harder to handle than an older family member that is "expected"...Im sure Nancy will be very happy to have you there! Be safe!

Thanks Joan, I wouldn't feel right if I didn't go no matter what the hassle

Good news is we opened the camper and there were no signs of mice. Makes opening so much easier this is our second season in our trailer and it was just as exciting opening up as it was last year

I was posting pics of blocks for another swap and realized I hadn't posted all of mine here. So here they are - just to make the boom post complete even though they have all gone to their owners.

Have to make a separate post - apparently there is a limit to how many pics can be in one post.

Checking in with everyone although this Boom is over. Crafty, I'll add you pix to the gallery but I cannot promise I will do it right away.

Just an fyi for anyone checking in here, I do have plans to run Boom 15 but do to circumstances beyond my control, I may delay sign-ups into May. Anyone interested, keep an eye out here as I will post to this thread when sign-ups start. Will also post over on the March thread.

Hope everyone is well and busy quilting or doing something fun every day, even if it's only for a few minutes. Take it easy!
