    I pin when I am trying to match seams and points, but not when sewing borders or sewing two pieces together.

    I used to pin quite a bit, but now usually only pin where seams need to match up. I am somewhat fanatic about having "intersections" or "corners" match as closely as possible.

    Don't pin much. I have started starching my fabric (pretty stiff)before cutting, so I seem to have less need for pins. Every seam fits better. You might want to try starching. I use Sta-Flo: Mix 1 to 1 with water and add some lavendar Febreze. After quilt is finished I rinse starch out. Works GREAT ! !

    I pin depending on what I'm sewing. Especially when matching seams.

    Have never gone that far!!!
    I pinned my Fritos bag! but not a lot when doing seams. Go figure! Have used glue though, but not on the Fritos bag!
