I've made 15 so far, one for each member of my family. My ds and dsil are coming next week end maybe I can get them to make one while they are here or I will make them and they can sign them. I love making them. My stitching group is making some too. I will mail them all as soon as I get them.

Our guild also are making these . 20 of us and some are making more than one. great way to help our soldiers. They give so much. These will go to our soldiers in the hospitals, if I understand it right. 100 quilts in 100 days.

    Hope this color is satisfactory.

I think most people are afraid of triangles. You definitely have mastered them. Your blocks are perfect.

Everybody here did such perfect points. My points did not work out so well. Hopefully they will still want to use the block. Now I'm waiting for a pigma pen to arrive from Amazon so I can sign the block and and send it off in the mail.

What size did your block come out to be? Mine is 10.25" before trimming - which is an odd size.

I can see why they picked this block though, it will be easy to trim all the blocks to the same size when they get them in. Pretty clever of them.
I think I read in the instructions somewhere that we were not to trim them...that they wanted to trim them. Am I wrong, should I have trimmed mine?

I like yours  . I'm still trying to decide on the fabrics for mine. One from me and one from my daughter. Thanks for the little nudge to get busy.

I just learned of this project this evening as I checked the forum to see what's going on. I will definitely get busy tomorrow on mine - I just printed out the instructions and it says not to trim them.

What do you bet the Moda people will get a few more than the eighteen hundred they hope to get to complete the project?
