Another great, non-sewing, use for coffee filters is to catch embossing powder or tiny glitters so you can pour the extra back into the bottles. Unlike the little plastic trays that are sold for this, the filter doesn't have any static to catch the powder and it all pours very nicely back into the container to be used later. Great for scrapbooking and card making! I keep a whipped topping bowl full of the smallest ones in my crafting area.

Great idea. I have some smaller ones for 4 cup maker so that would be a good thing to use them for but all in all they are cheap so we could just buy a pack of 100 and have a blast. I use them for crafts with my GKs all the time but never thought of this.
