I like the singing, but not in the show, thought it was kind of stupid!

I enjoyed watching Sara sing but the other's were just not doing it for me, disappointed and haven't really watched this whole season.

I agree with Ditter and I'd like to add... I heard the show's writer/creator talk about this episode before it aired. She said she'd had the 'characters singing' idea for quite awhile but was waiting for the right storyline to be able to pull it off. The actors who sang, pre-recorded their singing in a recording studio which probably explains the 'non-sync' of some songs.
And like someone mentioned they were trying something new & different. Callie's first name is Calliope which refers to music which is how they worked the aspect of her relating to the situation thru the singing/music.
It was nice to actually understand some of the lyrics to the songs. ABC website had an interesting segment regarding the show.
Of course this is just MHO.
    ;)

Am an old fan, but 15 minutes was all I could take last night. Really, the singing did nothing for the show as far as I am concerned, and I will not be interested in the show at all if it continues this way.

I seem to be in the minority here but I loved it - love musicals and it just hit the right cord with me - they all did an excellent job - and btw, the actress who plays Callie came from Broadway where she was performing when the show approached her and gave her the choice of characters to play

Callie is a beautiful girl with an amazing voice I think. I love this Show and hope they will not do anymore musicals either. I felt it was just too strange & odd.
