It's the only thread I use, I love it.
Been using it for a couple of years.
I use it on my Pfaff for piecing and on the Juki TL-98Q for quilting. Never any problems.
Their colors are gorgeous.

Same here. I would choose their brand for piecing every time but for a quilting thread, I'd likely go elsewhere.

I had big problems with the white (or maybe it was off white). So far I've only used the colored a couple of times for small projects. No problems with those though.

I like the look of cotton thread for topstitching (haven't tried Connecting Threads) but my machine doesn't seem to like it so much.

BTW I buy my Gutermans when it's on sale at JoAnn's.
The Gutermann I buy is 100% cotton. They do have a lot of poly thread though so I have to be sure to check.

I also use the thread and love it. Some colors had a little more lint but not much and I just clean it out plus I was working on flannel. I'm planning to order more different colors. Thanks for the info for free shipping. that'll help me buy more goodies. Sue

Brynn, the Essential cotton thread from Connecting Threads is my hands down favorite. I use it for piecing and quilting both. Less lint, no shredding, no breaking, no problems at all for several years now. Their prices can not be beat. I go through a cone or 2 a year in Cornsilk and Neutral colors; have many other colors for the actual quilting. Jump in and try them! Many of my quilter friends are now turned onto Essential.

I like it for piecing, but prefer silk thread for applique.

Well, the color pink one I used was not good to my 830 Bernina it got something all over the tension disk on the top had to go get cleaned out at dealer. Will never use it again. My repair guy said I need to use either 50/60 wt and 2 ply for piecing and reg use. I will be sending all that I have of CT thread to a friend she loves it!
