I fell a couple weeks ago and couldn't get up and IT HURT !!!!!!
I wouldn't let hubby help, told him just leave me and I will manage......
we both got laughing like hyenas as I scooted across the room on my derriere to get on the rug and near to a chair to boost myself up. These old knees need all the help they can get.
It sure was a sight to behold !!!!!!!!!

I just hate not being able to squat down, stay as long as I want, and then stand up and walk off.. I was always so strong I just didn't think this would happen to me.. and tell me.. when did my arms turn to crepe?? one day they were smooth, supple, and strong.. then one day I woke up and they are crepey, blotchy, and not so strong as they used to be...
Thank you God I can still hold and carry my grandchildren.

to PS 150,
Have you tried Glucosamine Sulfate with Chondroitin for the arthritis pain and tender joints that you are experiencing? I have a squeaky knee and tender fingers at times (and I am not 28 either)and I swear by the Glusosamine Sulfate with Chondroitin. It helps joint comfort and stability. It takes a few weeks before you notice an improvement but it does work!!! Been using it for years and FINALLY my orthopedic doc recommends it. Not sure if I am allowed to recommend this on this board. I am a nurse just thinking about your problem. pm me.

You have my sincere sympathy. I was about your age when my back "went out" for the first time. Oh, the pain! Please take good care of yourself. You are WAY too young to have to worry about arthritis.
