The time flies. On 7/19 DH and I will be married 47 years. Seems just like the other day.

Congratulations! My DH and I will celebrate 35 years on the 19th of June. This is also our son's 31st birthday. Yes, he was born on our 4th anniversary. Also, my brother's daughter was born on the same day and year. My mom and dad spent their day at two different hospitals here in town. We did give them a little time to "regroup". This was their first grandson and granddaughter. My niece was born at noon, and our son was born at 10:30 that night. Time sure has passed by quickly. Also, my parents will celebrate 63 years of marriage in September.

We're up to almost 64% of our life together - just did the calculation after seeing this post. We were married at age 23 in 1970 & we're 64 now. 41 years married divided by our age 64 = 63.75%. Wow - have to tell hubby this, since he claims he is (still) only 44!

Congrats my hubby and I have been together 25 years and married 21. There were 10 couples we new who got married the same year only one other than us is still together. Have watched many others crash and burn in front of our eyes. Instead of talking and working on their friendship part of the marriage it becomes too easy to walk away.

Congrats to all of you! We made it to 37 years until he passed 12 years ago. My advice, which it sounds like you already do, is to enjoy yourselves.

Congradulations, yesterday was our 40th anniversary. Our children had a suprise party for us they worked hard keeping it a secret from us. I married my husband when I was 17 and he was 18.....seems like forever LOL
