I don't believe in being faithful to a brand or line of fabric. It's too easy for the makers to hold us up for more money per yard. I mainly look at cotton or cotton/polyester fabric that's on sale. If something draws me and my standard question [which I ask for anything I purchase] after a fifty percent mark up on goods did the workers get paid enough and the answer is yes, I'll buy it. When I am working on a project The fabric is then guaged against the intended user. It can get complicated.

I love all the name brands and on sale even better.

I usually buy based on colors and prints, but I tend to buy Moda more than any other company and I adore most prints by Sandy Gervais. Robert Kaufman comes in a close second, though.

Same with me - I "love the hunt" for appealing fabrics from many designers and fabric houses, but Moda is always consistently "ON" for me.

I don't think I have a favorite fabric line/brand, I just buy what strikes my fancy and for the project I have in mind. I do love batiks, but not any particular line.

I like a lot of the Robert Kaufmen, Mackower, and the Wilmington line. I have no real favorites, but these are the ones I find myself admiring the most.

Just found out that favoritefabrics.com is carrying one of my favorites---Freedom Fabrics. They are gorgeous. Not that I buy that line exclusively. I bet I have some of every brand. Really love batiks and Asian.

I don't have a favorite line of fabric, I usually just go with what I like, some fabrics I won't use because they are too thin. I love the feel of Northcott Fabrics, but don't see as much of their fabric anymore, which is a shame cause it's beautiful fabric.

I do the same thing. I pick what I like to use not by manufacturer.
