Welcome from Sunny Florida!

My VBF has started doing miniatures because she can do them by hand in her lap and not have to drag out a lot of stuff. Traditional blocks, just smaller. Right now she's doing a mini yo-yo quilt made with 3/4" finished yo-yo! She's even got me working on one. She also does paper-pieced miniatures ... her New York Beauty is beautiful.

She's been able to sell them; not for big bucks but enough to keep her habit going! ($60-$70 depending on how detailed it is)

I agree with SuziC - you'll be back before you know it. Why not "get away" with a trip to a quilt shop to see what's new ... and chat with the ladies you run into there about what they're doing.

Best of luck - we're thinking of you.

You know, I may be reading too much between the lines but it sounds like you are going through a really bad patch right now. I truly sympathize. It's hard to be creative when you are stressed and not happy but things will get better and all the fun and creativity will be waiting when you're ready. Hope it's soon.

Quilting can be good therapy. You'll soon find the energy just start really simple and you will be suprised at how it will inspire you. Good Luck in all you do!!
