Today I'm canning tomatoes again, did another 21 quarts. In all I've done 45 quarts. Next I want to do salsa and green tomato mincemeat. We'll see how the tomatoes are doing after that and I might be able to do tomato juice yet.

I am also trying to get away from HFCS. With that in mind, I made ketchup yesterday. It's a little on the soupy side, but oh so tasty. I have stewed tomatoes in the canner as we speak. I will have crab apples to make jelly out of, soon. The birds got most of the elderberries, but I still have 4 quarts of juice that I canned last year to make jelly out of when I had more time. Can't wait for apples, too. Planning to make lots of sauce. :P
