I loved the movie and went with my friend who introduced me to the fabulous Quilt Guild in our area. Had both loved the book as well.

Loved the book and then I loved the movie. Fantastic and much like it was in the 50's where I grew up I am sad to say.

This is not a chick flick! It's a great social commentary that happens to be about women. froggyintexas

My girlfriend and I are going to lunch Tuesday and then to see the movie. Everyone who has seen it has absolutely loved it. My husband got home from the hospital last week after having his aortic valve replaced with a pig valve. I have been in the house so long with him that, now that he's getting stronger, we're getting ME out of the house.

I saw the movie after I listened to the book on my mp3. Looooved it. Thank goodness we have come a long way the last 50 years. Hope to see some Academy Award nominations for this one.
