    Pink was the favorite for a long time. Then approaching big school time she announced this summer that purple was her new favorite color!

    Thanks for the kind words. You know how days can be as a mom - sometimes we feel appreciated by our own families and sometimes we don't. But I try to remember that all of the little things we do really matter. You ladies really made my day with so much encouragement.

    You have a good point about the clothes for travel. That makes a lot of sense. Last year we actually tried using the hangers with little homemade tags on them, then we punched a hole in the plastic sandwich bag to add the day's underwear. Part of this latest project is my trying to see if we can get away from the plastic bags since they've become so pervasive in our lives.
