I have had it since about 1988, don't know how long she had it. There is only one tiny spot that might need to be resewn.
    It's beautiful.

Are you certain it is machine pieced?
No, it isn't machine pieced, it is all hand stitched. Since it is only the top, you can see on the back of it, too, and it is all hand done.

What a wonderful family heirloom: Just think of how many precious hours this lady put into this quilt: Bless You for Saving it and Best of Everything when you get it finished: Blessings:

I would have to do it by machine, and that would not be good. I can't afford to have it hand quilted right now. I am thinking of hanging it and a beautiful cross stitched bedspread quilt I have that I no longer have a big bed to put the quilt on. Who needs walls, lol.

I was just noticing that altho the baskets are all the same, the way the flowers are made, each is different, stems, etc. I had only thought, briefly looking at before, that each flower head was different, but I see now that each is completely different.
The fact that some of the flowers are done in a color originally called 'hot pink', you may be able to date it from that. The technology to make that color is fairly recent. Good luck, and remember to post finished pictures. Lucky you!
