Heck yeah! From the time we told family and friends we were moving to Arkansas, all we heard were jokes about banjo music and people with bad teeth!

What she said! We all ride our horses everywhere! (Although DH and I both drive pickups!)
I lived in Texas from birth until about 30. I rarely saw anyone wearing a western suit and cowboy hat/boots in Downtown Dallas or Houston except for Yankees who thought they needed to dress that way.

I am originally from New Mexico. When I first moved to Texas the Avon lady visited my house. She asked where I was from. I told her New Mexico. She told me that a relitive went there once. She had never been 100 miles from her home which was out in the middle of nowhere in a large county with a small population. That is another thing they don't teach enough of in school. Geography. Our kids should a t least learn the states!

Us Minnesotans, I think, call it OreeGonn (phonetically speaking, of course.) But then, you are Oree-Gone-Ians, right? Like we are Minnesotans!

I like the "what we ares". Oregonians, Minnesotans, Wisconsinites, Washingtonians (I think), Iowans, No. or So. Dakotans, Michiganders,

My Mom taught us the Midwest States as: NoDak, SoDak, Minn,Wis, Mich and Ia. Say that three times real fast. You'll remember it!!!! Edie

HEY - HEY - HEY! THE VIKINGS ARE LEADING 34-10 with 47 seconds left!!!!!! It's about time.

Oh Yeah! I'm originally from North Dakota, and often was asked if it is a state. Also, "Did you see that movie Fargo?"
LOL.

Well, I'm from TN where the natives still say it's a ni-i-i-ce ni-i-i-ght for i-i-i-ice cream! A very flat i. People can't believe I'm from TN because I lost that accident long ago. However, we're not all hillbillies!
