At one guild that I belong to they take pieces of PVC pipe and stick them on the table legs. It works great.

That's a great idea, I have been wanting a cutting table, I will have to go to my thrift store and see what I can find! Thanks for the idea.

PVC pipe works great for this just cut a piece as high as you need and put one on each leg. We do this at our church and put them on three tabels then when you are through are want to use the table for other things just take them off.

I did the same thing 8 years ago but my table is really my dog grooming table that I put a 40x40 piece of plywood on. The bed risers sure save my back!! lol This way my file cabinet fits under it for storage and I made cafe curtains to go around it to hide everything.

My risers are made from heavy duty PVC pipe. Most of the gals in our guild do this. Can be cut to your own desired measurements and not expensive.

Sams has a table that has legs that have three positions. I have one and I'm getting another. I put it on middle positions to sew on the and higher one when I'm doing cutting. It folds flat and I can put it under my twin bed.It's smaller than the cafeteria size table but it's perfect if space is an issue. I've had mine for five years and I think the ones they have now fold in half for storage. I really like having the option of heights.
