keep hoping - sometimes if something gets screwed up in the mail it takes a few weeks to get returned. Returns aren't like a big priority. Fingers crossed!!!
And ask if the recipient looked everywhere. My daughter sent me a package and it sat at the front door of the house in the rain for days...it was lying flat, no one ever uses that door...good thing it was wrapped in plastic inside the box.

Your quilt looks sooooooo nice. You did a lot of work. How did you ship it? Did you get a tracking #? Did you insure it? I have found that the tracking helps them keep track of it or find it if miss delivered. Also when it is insured they want to find it, not pay for it. Holding out good thought for your lost quilt.

I feel for you. The same thing happened to me. I sent a box to Denver from SC. Well it never got there. It was tracked to a sorting center in Kentuckey. Never to be from again. I had it insured for 400.00 and still have to yet collect from the post office. It is a joke ever recovering money for insured mail. I also sent a gift card to my gran-daughter in KC and it never got there either. I was told that the post office is having a lot of trouble with theivery. Well I learned my lesson there too.....Sorry for your loss...Hope you can recover it soon.
