I don't get bored, don't ever regret staying home. After 28 years working for lawyers as a paralegal, I love the freedom to do things on my own schedule, spend time with the people I love, pursue my hobbies, and not have to fight rush-hour traffic to get somewhere on time. Retirement is fabulous!

I am bored a lot of the time. I was forced to retire at age56 due to health issues I had worked since I was 12 yrs old so retirement was hard for me . I was a over the road trucker when I retired and was on the road usually about 330 days a year with my DH at first I managed to keep myself busy but as health continued to decline I got more and more bored I quilt as much as I want but I grow tired with that I do other crafts but usually have to force myse tp do them because of the pain in my hands I read a lot and am on my computer many hours a day. I miss having someplace to be everyday and manydays have to stay home due to health so yes I get real bored

I am never bored. I do volunteer work, sing in a choir and quilt every chance I get. I try to sew nearly every day. Reading is high on my list as well as gardening. Boredom? What's that?

I was getting bored after a little over a year. I started working as a pharmacy tech at a volunteer medical clinic and am now I am working full-time as a paid dispensing tech at a children's clinic.

So... we're married to the same husband? There are so many things around here that need doing. If I mention anything he says, "It's on my list." List? I'd like to see this list. About 2 years ago I started thinking about retirement, but his retirement really put an end to those plans anytime soon. He was a debate teacher and this Spring has been doing some judging of contests. That has helped both of our attitudes.

You better believe I am not bored... I will be retired 3 year on July 4th.... I reallly wonder how I had time to work for 40 years.... We are loving llife... My hubby retired July 3rd the same year. We are enjoying traveling and accomplishing something every week. We are enjoying grandchild and our grown children...Funny just how much we enjoy the little things and are so thankful for everything.

I've spent more of my life not working than working. So far the only times I've ever been bored have been at work. But then I was born self entertaining and easily amused.

I have never been bored when I retired 7 years ago. Love not working. Nice to enjoy the freedom of doing things you never had time to do when working.

No I never get bored! I just don't know how I had time to go to work everyday. I used to get up at 3:00AM and get home at 4:00PM. Then cook for three teenager and a husband, plus laundry , house work and once in awhile I would get to sew or crochet. Now I get up when I want to and stay up as late as I want. I make quilt tops, crochet, and make jewelry and even children's clothes. I even have time to read a book once in awhile. So as you can see no time to be bored. I'm not sure I even know what it means.
