    Beautiful, love your colors. Do you mind if I ask what the pattern is called? I have batiks set aside for my daughter and have been looking for just the right pattern. Would love to make this!

    Yes, that does look like stained glass. The colors are beautiful. You did a great job. I made that pattern using Asian fabrics and it was well received. Using batiks is a good idea. Will add that to my list...........

    So - to Traditional, Tymia and Coll - no I am not keeping it - a colleague of mine gave me a wifi router that he wasn't using and I offered to make him a quilt in exchange. As for the pattern I cannot remember it but i willl look up when I get home. It did come out of the January 2013 issue of American Quillter Magazine - the one I saw was done in black and whites. I added more sashing to mine. Each block is only 3 pieces plus the sashing so its super easy to put together.
