    I like this better than almost any scrap quilt I've ever seen. It's scrappy and classy. Nice work.

    What a great story you wrote about the quilt and so true. Write this down or save the email about your feeling while making it and keep it with the quilt. It makes the quilt so meaningful and every memoir a family has about a significant object is a treasure. In fact why not write as well about what quilting has meant to you. Marvelous job.

    The Star pattern is one of my favorite simple patterns. The black really makes the quilt shine. Great Job !!
