    I love the effect that 4 patches & HST's can create in a quilt. This really gives me something to think about for scrappies.

    Your quilt is really pretty! I usually pre-wash all my fabric unless for crazy quilt. I always buy an extra 1/4 yard to allow for shrinkage. That's also how my scraps multiply!

    You might want to check out Legacy Studios solid white. Same base fabric as their printed goods - tight weave, great hand. I use it - and the unbleached version too - for everything. Fabulous if I do say so myself.

    I know what you mean about thin fabrics, but your right. From a distance it looks
