[QUOTE=ube quilting;7062345]This EPP wall hanging is for Rhondas' Wall Hanging Swap. It is the first time I toyed with EPP. I am doing the happy dance with how it is turning out. All that's left to do is layering, quilting and binding.

Needs a name too. any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks for looking.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to paper piece a hexagon. I am impressed by your pattern and your fabric choices. As for a name....peppermint popcorn?

You are a master of precision piecing! Gorgeous quilt! I've never seen that pattern before.

So glad this got rebumped to the top, I missed it before. What a great wallhanging! Fussy cutting the fabric made a huge impact in the design. Love it.

Hi every one, Here are the tutorials I used to learn how to EPP. I love Sue Daley!

    http://www.suedaleydesigns.com/tips-techniques/

The only thing I did different was to lay the pieces next to each other when I sewed them together and I used both painters tape for the smaller piecing to hold them in place while I sewed and freezer paper on the larger pieces when the blocks got bigger. I ironed the FP to the front of the block pieces and it held them very nicely side by side while I sewed them. This made all the difference in keeping the stitching on the back of the piecing with no, no, no show through.

I learned this trick right here on the QB. Thank you for helping to create this " Cherry on Top" quilt.
    peace
