Overlander: Do you have an UNCUT piece of the fabric you used to make your Kaleidescope/Hex blocks? I would love to see it before you cut it. All your hex blocks are gorgeous but the "starfish" one really draws my attention. I also really like your white and black (?) fabric. It's really attractive in your quilt. What a piece of work/art you are creating. Good job.

Hi Overlander. Your blocks are beautiful. I especially love the black triangles, they make each block stand out. Love that look.

I love the fabric you chose....gorgeous. Thank you for showing us the uncut fabric so we can get an idea of how each of the blocks got to be the way they turned out...I love this Kaleidescope and find that I am now looking at fabric and COUNTING THE REPEATS AND CHECKING TO SEE IF I THINK IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT KALEIDESCOPE BLOCK! As someone else said, this block or technique is addictive. Thanks for sharing.

My blocks are done and the floating border blocks are complete too. I've laid everything out and numbered it so I can piece it in the right order. Whew, I've sewed my fingers to the bone the last 2 days. :) But, the end is in sight!

OMG - this is absolutely stunning. I love the black inserts (seperators) and the black and white border fabric. Each of your bocks are gorgeous. I've had fabric for ages now, just waiting for all these Christmas projects to be done :)...then off I go on this journey :) :)
I hear these are addictive and I can definitely see why.
GREAT JOB!!! Thanks for sharing your progress.

This is very pretty. Is this type of quilt machine pieced or hand sewn? Thanks.
