Jan, you might find that you can gain that quarter inch if you block the centre. If you haven't done that before, there is a good free tute on Sharon Schamber's site. Otherwise, Colletta can make her border just a tad oversized, to bring it up for the next person on the list, can't she? (Providing that is OK for you Jan, and Colletta of course.) I loved the colours you used, and batiks always look so fresh somehow.
