    Hi! I think you did a wonderful job!
    I, like you, were afraid to cut my panel but wanted a different 'window' view.I posted mine here, but I'm not sure how to link you to it. See if this works.     Very cool optical illusion, with the bottom of the window making it look ( inset) and the top looking like the panes are pulling in. Didn’t describe it quite right but the top panes are toward the viewer and the bottom the panes away . I love the illusion
