I lived in Montevallo when I was 5/6 years old. I started school there and then moved to B'ham. My daughter lives in Pelham. Small world sometimes, isn't it?

So many from Alabama on here! I am really feeling more at home! My husband's family is from Baldwin County so it is our second home. My inlaws first home was in Daphne back in 1939, recently sold their farm, now passed away. Grandma and Grandpa's place is now a huge housing development. Oh how I miss the spring time down there.

I have lived in Alabama since I was 2 years old. I was born in Iowa. Except for a two year period when I was 13 and 14 when we lived in St. Louis, MO, I have always been in Alabama. Love it here. Close to the beach, close to big cities, etc.
