I think the a child would see a bear and bright colors. That's all that matters to little ones. There is an organization called newborns in need that would gladly accept your beautiful quilt. Newbornsinneed.org

Next time sew along the outside edge of the ABC's and it will turn out right. Sometimes the panels just have to squared up.
Maybe I'll make more bookmarks for the library.

I like it just the way it is. It looks perfect for the children's section. They will never notice that it is not square. The adults can play I-spy with their kids.The partial letters are a great way for beginning readers to fill out the letter in their minds. This is a great game quilt. Take it from a retired Kindergarten teacher.:)
