Hey didn't you buy BOTH sides of the fabric? Use the one you like! :)

Hey, there are no set rules in quilting! A lot of times I use the back side a a piece of fabric, maybe because I just like it or because I need something that is not so stark, etc.

no you are not wrong using the back of any material I have often found some that the back looks better or just different than the front and I have used both sides, also this is just a design preference. hope this helps

I made a miniature double wedding ring quilt once and didnt know I had used the wrong side until I went to bind it. So I made another one using the right side. Both were wonderful and nobody knew but me

Many of the national quilt "experts" use the back of fabrics on a regular basis. And they are not afraid of the quilt police. The recurring theme on this board is "If you like, do it". (Sounds like the 60s)
