Your quilts are so pretty - I love scrappy quilts. The bear paw quilt is very pretty. Good job.

The patterns and colors are soooo perfect that I would use simple quilting so that it doesn't take away from the overall quilt. Let us know what you came up with for each one.

this is just my opinion, but i always think that on a very geometric pieced design, a wavy or circular stitch design looks best. on a curved pieced design, a geometric pattern looks nicer. they balance each other, imo.

BEAUTIFUL!! I WOULD PUT OVERALL ON THE QUILTS, BUT ON THE CIRCLE ONE YOU MIGHT TRY PUTTING A FLOWER IN THE CIRCLE. A PETAL IN EACH 1/4 CIRCLE. SCRAPE QUILTS ARE BECOMING MY FAVORITE QUILTS TO WORK ON.

I like to quilt to bring out the pattern of the blocks. For example, I think in the first one I would quilt around the pinwheels to make them stand out.

I'm a hand quilter, but I'll tell you that I just love the quilt tops you've made!!! I have such a wonderful time looking at scraps of fabric that have been turned into wonderful works of art! You've done a fabulous job! It makes me want my scraps to accumulate quickly!

Nice work! Your quilts are so distinctive in their own right I wouldn't think too hard on how to quilt them. A simple quilt pattern would be best, I think, because the colors and patterns are what you want to show. Good luck with them.

What I want to know is how can I get on your recipient list? Your quilts are awesome!!! As for quilting designs -I think it would depend on how much more time you want to put into them. It looks like this will turn into a long-term, serious hobby for you, so if I were you (which I'm not, but I also still work fulltime) I'd invest in one or two USED Quilting Designs books. Try your local library also. I have two books (Quilting Makes the Quilt by Lee Cleland, 1994 and Free Motion Quilting Made Easy by Eva A Larkin, 2009) that I refer to before I start the quilting on any "scrappy" quilt where, depending on the fabrics in the quilt, a good deal of my quilting won't even show. Plan ahead how much you want it to show and then use thread and thread color accordingly. There are many websites with free quilting motifs; just take a little time to look them over and enjoy the process.
