The gray quilt is together--but it's only good from a great distance. Rats!

[quote=Yarn or Fabric]Hand grenades and horseshoes, baby....
It's all good in the end and don't sweat the mistakes. Only you will know they are there and if the imperfections bug you that much, applique something over them! :D
When I finished one of my quilts, I noticed one of the fabrics was turned wrong side out.. I appliqued a flower over it and everyone thought that was the high light of the quilt. Make your mistakes work for you. I did!

OK, Missy, here is Lecture #16 just for you: Do NOT point out the flaws in your work. No one but you sees them. All anyone else sees is a work or art. OK? OK!!!!
And I know that Mark appreciates good workmanship and has claimed this one as his own!! LOL
It's beautiful, but then all your quilts are! As I know first-hand! LOL with great joy!!!! :P :P :P :P :P

I think it's gorgeous just the way it is!
No one will know after it's quilted and washed, all they will notice is the beautiful colors.
And if it still bothers you too much, applique a cat silhouette on top of it.

The next three planned are all squares and strips, thank goodness. :|
I had planned on two borders--and mapped it out on EQ6, but decided I didn't want it bigger. The binding will be scrappy of the dark fabrics.
Hi, I read your above message and just wondered if your machine may be causing the problem. I, too, had this problem when someone suggested checking the feed-dogs. Sure enough they had worn to the point where they had to be raised a little. Solved my problem.
I ironed all seams as they were sewed, but forgot to press the last one.
