Fabric I purchased as new fabric, from the mid-80's. Will probably never use those shades of green, blue and pink but haven't given them away yet. Also, I am always looking for feedsacks so have those.

I have a piece of fabric my grandmother had left over from my mothers wedding dress. She couldnt find it when I was getting married but found it the next year and gave it to me anyway. I was going to use it for one of my sisters (I have six) but I couldnt and mom said grandma really wanted me to have it so I figure one day I will use it in a quilt or maybe leave it in as a legacy to one of her great, great grandaughters (of which there are three already)

Do we think quilting or fabric saving are in our GENES!!!!
I thought I was the only one saving fabric from certain people or relatives. This is such an interesting group of people and the Best Web Site I ever found. Whenever I go to my computer I look here to see what's happening. Illsa
