Thanks for the compliments everyone. Stripes can be difficult but I have been trying to challenge myself with fabrics that I wouldn't normally use or put together. My only "rule" for this project is that it has to have some cream in the block.

Here are Blocks 21 & 22. Couldn't resist using yellow & green for Corn & Beans!

Here are my blocks 21 & 22. I really like it when the next pattern is easy. Corn & Beans certainly was challenging

I agree-I think the author did this on purpose so quilters wouldn't give up if there were too many hard blocks in a row. Although there was one stretch (can't remember which ones) that I thought about 5 in a row would be my downfall.
Great blocks Peppermint-you're really choosing pretty colors.

Purple and green are one of my favorite color combinations. Your blocks are great!

I guess since I started posting I should post these blocks too, even though I am less than thrilled with Corn and Beans. I really should have paper pieced it. Maybe I'll like it better tomorrow when I am not so frustrated with it. I made sooooo many mistakes on this block. I tried to copy Peppermints layout, not sure if I suceeded. I didn't lose ALL the points, I just cropped it that way to hind the points that I did lose :(

There, it looks better when you stand back a bit :) and you don't think of the "Put in in the Zoo" book by Dr. Suess!

    I need to sleep....

I like your blocks--very bright and cheerful. BTW, those "missed points" don't show up as obvious when you add the sashing and sew them together. Not that I missed any points on any of my blocks, just sayin'..........(LOL)
