My mother is 95 and in a care home. She complains that her feet are always cold. I was wondering how I could make a rice bag for her feet. Would it work if I could make a square or oblong one and put ties on each corner so it could be wrapped around her feet after heating in the microwave. A filler with a removable cover for washing. I need to experiment a little I guess.

I have a rice bag made especially for lower Back the person that made it sewed in long fabric ties so you could tie it on and move around and it would stay put.
I have another one that is filled with cherry pits smells so good when you take it out of microwave, like cherry pie it also stays warm longer
