Do others feel that when a person sees something they want to buy, and it's worth the price charged, that 'some should be left for others?' To be honest, it has never occurred to me. If I'm there, I don't even think of other shoppers who might come later.
If I go into Joann's for 2 yds of a fabric, find out that leaves 1/2 yard on the bolt that they sell at a cheaper price, I usually buy it, not thinking I'm depriving someone else.

I've tried it with several different levels of tightness but it doesn't help. I never had trouble with the tightness of my regular blades though.

I've been having luck lately finding brand name rotary cutters in dollar and surplus stores.
Last week I was in a "army" surplus store that also has a craft aisle (I think so ladies will go into the store) and found Fiskars rotary cutters on for 4.99. They were basic handles with a blade, but the handle had a pretty pattern on it and the Name of a 'artist line'. Kind of like buying a "Martha Stewart" branded item instead of a plain one.
So, I bought 3. One can never have too many backups. Right?

I got tired of going into my local Harbor Freight to look for blades.. they never have any.. was told as soon as a few packages come in they are gone. I was able to buy 2 packages about last August or so.. I'm still using that first blade.. They were backordered until sometime in October, but I don't think there has been any trouble getting them from the website since they got them from their supplier. I just ordered what I wanted from the website and even with Shipping they are much cheaper than the LQS!! MUCH cheaper!

Finally today at HF there were more than one package.

    This was Greenville SC
Sorry I don't feel guilty for taking all five packages.
As many trips as I made there, I felt like I earned them.
That will keep me for a long time.
So I won't squirel away anymore.

Maybe I am better off without them, as I use that ruler a lot. :)
Not true: I have the slit ruler and the harbor freight blade work just fine in the ruler. Just saying
