Glad you like the quilt--I wish I could take responsibility for the quilt pattern but I can't. It comes from a book by Judy Turner and Margaret Rolfe, "Successful scrap quilts", and it is called 1-2-3 What can you see? The only change I made is that they use 2 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch rectangles which they combine together to make the larger rectangle unit, whereas I only had 1 1/2 inch strips so had to use 1 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch rectangles to combine to make the larger unit.
Either way, it is a great quilt to make and use up scraps. Happy quilting! :D

Here is my UFO for October. It is called "Salt water taffy" by Margaret E. J. LaBenne, and I have wanted to make it for about a year now. I really like it and will probably make many more times, especially since it is very easy. It is a great quilt to make for charity! Here is the link if anyone is interested:

Happy quilting! Iris :-D

This is the front of the quilt.

And here is the back. As you can see, I had some leftover blocks and not enough of either fabric, so this is the result.
