I stopped sending packages priority unless they are really heavy. I've been using bubble mailer envelopes (bought in bulk from Staples or Office Max, come out to less than a 70 cents each) and mailing them first class. Anytime the weight is less than 13 oz., it is cheaper to mail first class and it takes the same time more or less. I've sent packages from the east coast to California on Saturday and they got there Monday!!! First Class!!!! And you can still add delivery confirmation.

Thanks so much Jona!
The batiks are very pretty. The cross stitch pattern is so cute! And I'm always in need of post-its and note pads. Thanks again!

Hi Ladies. I need someone to take over the November Secret Pal and the Winter Fabric Postcard Swap. We found out yesterday that my darling mother in law has liver, lung and bone cancer. She will be coming home tomorrow on hospice care and I will be her primary care giver. I hate to do this to anyone but my priorities have to be somewhere else for a little while.
You can get me at tark1940 at embarqmail dot com. Just fill in the spots as they should be. We are going to the hospital to visit tonight so it will be later when I check my email.
I would also appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers for my mother in law, my husband and myself.
Suzanne
