My motto: Just because I have pain, doesn't mean I need to BE one... I choose to be happy every day--it would be easy to succumb to all the negative forces that surround us--but it is just so much healthier to be happy!

I always look on the bright side - even when things seem the worst!!
I think that has come with age
I am always glad that my name is not in the obituary in the morning!!

Just the other day someone told me that they saw a show with Joyce Meyers talking to Joel O'steen.
Some of you may know that both of them are very spiritual ppl.
They were having lunch and all through all of it, he kept smiling and smiling.
She finally asked him, "Joel, what are your faults?"...as this minister of a large televised church, he is known for his sanguine personality and uplifting messages.
Joel looked at her, smiling, and said, "well you know Joyce, I don't think about them, so I can't think of one."
She was impressed, but still curious, so later she was with Joel's wife, Victoria and asked her the same question, "What are Joel's faults?"
Victoria, smiling, said, "Well, you know, Joyce, I don't think about them, so I can't think of one."
Joyce told her congregation, "Well no wonder they are such happy people! They focus on the right things and leave the rest to God." :thumbup:
