Putting the bright colored blocks was a great idea! They really make it pop! The elephant was also a good addition! Great job...... :thumbup: :D :thumbup:

Beautiful quilt. I did have to chuckle with your comment about counting repeats...I think that's one of the reasons I have said it's addicting. No two quilts made with the same fabric will come out the same either.

Hi, the book I used One Block Wonders Encore includes some patterns for some cubes. There is also a third book by the same authors called "OBW Cubed" and that has directions for even more cubes. It is just a fun way to add color and dimension to OBW quilts. I don't know that there is a formula for where to add them, it is totally up to the designer to decide if and where to add cubes.
