I juat barely started quilting, but took a break from the lap throw I'm working on to start sewing a retro apron yesterday. It was refreshing working with little managable pieces!

Sometimes, that's when I read voraciously.

I agree with "jljack" Wait before you sell anything! It might be 2,3,6 months but you will get the desire to want to sew and create again. It may come on slow, but it will come back!!!

No, but I think that's because I have SO many interets. I honestly feel that I'd have to live to be 200 to finish all I want to do.
Sewing of any kind, cooking new recipes. gardening (I consider our yard a 'garden' not a yard, beading, and "This Old House' is a life long project.

Oh, Nadine, consider carefully before you start getting rid of your stuff. Maybe you are in a temporary downturn, but don't abandon everything! Quit for a while and see how you feel in a few months.

BTW - I like your 301!!
AGREE 100% - DON'T GIVE UP ON IT - TAKE A BREAK if you need to, but DON'T GET RID OF EVERYTHING.

In the 80's, when I was younger (& obviously had more energy) I was ON FIRE for quilting - had the "stash", shows all over the state, quilt guild president, constantly making quilts. Then early 90's dropped out till recently. Left 3 quilt tops not quilted. Now getting back into it & determined to finish those 3 tops. Probably never do as many again as in the 80's, but am enjoying it once again.

Yes, I do. I take a couple of days and read a good book, sit on the swing, just relax. Soon I want to get back into the quilting.

Oh yes! I started knitting this afternoon while watching some tennis - enjoying the change, hope my hands don't hurt too much later on. Grandbaby number 5 expected around October time so lots to do.

Discouraged is more my problem. Sometimes I feel like my accuracy will never improve enough to be a good quilter. I feel like I should be doing better. I make some really stupid mistakes. But I don't want to quit. A good successful finish would be pretty welcome right now.
