I'm not a proof reader or a good speller, but I do have a dictionary handy at the 'puter.

So I edit because I like to have things nice and clear.
I miss some typos, of course, but I have the time to take time to edit.
I noticed the quilts made of shorts and thought "that is quaint" and took another look too...
I encourage everybody to take a minute, re-read, and fix the mistakes, so that their readers will not think they have stupid fingers!

So glad I am not the only OCD person on here!!! LOL I am sure I still miss some of my own, but I do try to catch them.

For several years, we had a secretary at our church named Christy, Her biggest oops was typing "Jesus Christy" in a prayer in the Sunday bulletin. She laughed along with the rest of the congregation. ;)

I'll read back through - but often my brain will just substitute what I meant to say instead of what I actually said -- easy mistakes that I see in other peoples writing I completely miss in my own

;-) I made a t-shirt quilt using t-shirts and some shorts (not underwear).

The mistakes that get me are as follows: Local restaurant had a coupon in the ad that read:

Win free buffet's for a year!

I just want to know why it is that my mistakes jump out at me after I post and I can't see them before! I usually can go back in and edit. On the other hand, for personal email, my SIL and I have agreed to ignore the errors which usually are are typos. Ohterwise we would never get our messages done. (and here is an example right here) :)

I'm a retired teacher, and I sometimes find myself moving the cursor to correct errors that I see. LOL
