    I hadn't put in my 2 cent's worth, but it looks like you managed to get it together brilliantly. I love the symmetry, and the choice of colours is wonderful.

    My vote goes to the finished product.

    Thank you all for your input to help me decide, and comments on the finished product.

    I was 10 inches short when it cam time to put on the border, so this disaster turned into a design opportunity. I put the 1/4 mariner compass blocks in the corners, which I think looks better than a plain border anyway.

    I did leave the border off the top of the quilt on purpose (planned to from the very beginning), I find that the top border never shows on a bed when it is made, so decided to just forget it. Has anyone else ever done this?
