Love your quilt and the bowl. I get my bowls at harbor freight. They have different sizes. Last year for Xmas I gave them in with other gifts to my quilting friends. Work really nice when hand stitching on the binding, don't have to worry where my needle is when I'm not using it. I just recently saw them in the quilt stores and they are pretty expensive . Also very nice when taking the old vintage machines apart for cleaning etc, know where my parts are. Again, nice quilt and good to show people the magnetic bowls.

Thanks

Suzy

You can also find 2 sizes at Harbor Freight Tools. They have a magnetic telescoping tool that is great for picking up pins on the floor-is about 18 to 20 inches long.

Great idea. And it would be nice to run over the carpet if you drop a pin and not have to look and look.

I had one of those in my hand this morning at our Alco store (a mini Walmart) and was thinking of buying it for a mens grab bag. It was on sale too. Am going back after it tomorrow for me.

There's a Harbor Freight store next to Hancock's in Austin, TX. They've got them for $3.99, so I grabbed one. Now, when my kitties are helping me, I won't have to worry about them scattering pins everywhere.
