Scrap Quilts...thanks Bonnie Hunter

The 2 quilts you made are beautiful! I've been wanting to make a 'Strip Twist' myself and am inspired by your work.
I couldn't agree more with your praise for Bonnie, her website, and tutorials. I discovered her website about 10 years ago and my perspective on quilting changed from 'shop for each project to find matching fabrics' to stashbusting. I think I've made 8 quilts with her various patterns (Boxy Stars - see attachment, Bricks and Stepping Stones (2), Fun with Bricks (2), Oklahoma Backroads (2), Pineapple Blossom, and used the Pioneer Braid Border pattern on the Pineapple Blossom), all from stash.
Believe it or not I was just in your neighborhood last week to visit the Lazy 5 Ranch while my daughter was off from school a couple extra days. What a small world!

Both are lovely. Love the bottom quilt! I've chosen to attempt to make a quilt for a silent auction to benefit a child/family of a woman I work with and am trying to think of which one to make, that looks like it's a good idea for this project!

I love the way your quilts turned out!! I'm always scared to try that with my scraps. I don't think they will ever turn out as nice as yours and others that I've seen. Yours seem so unified and if I was to do it, it would look like a complete mess.
