    I like the brown too but if you are asking the question I suspect that you are feeling a little ill at ease. I think it does feel a little "heavy". How about if it were not so wide? Fold it back by half or 3/4's and see if you like it better.

    Keep the border as is, looks very nice and compliments the interior.

    It works because you are using fabrics that are in the quilt. I would probably reverse the colors and go with a yellow wide border and a dark narrow border. It will be pretty no matter what.
