    I was trying Glide and my machine loved it. And the effect is lovely. The gold on another looks like metallic without the hassle of metallic. It is a trilobal, shiny but so thin that it doesn't take over.

    I also admire your courage to do the freehand crosshatching. The effect is spectacular. I would not think to try CH without a ruler but I really like the texture the free hand crooked crosshatching gives. Reminds me of loose burlap and compliments the feathers and roses quite nicely.
