Curtains in Your Sewing Room
About ten years ago I found this polyester lace at a fabric store that already had holes in it that I could use to put a tension rod through for a valance. I've never taken them down to wash them, and they still look the same as the day I put them up.

Well as you can see I am very eclectic and hang everything over my windows, but I made the light filtering shades and then hung a lacey kind of curtain in front of them. The shades keep the direct sun off my fabric and keep the room from supper heating in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Oh, those are pretty! I may have to rethink my "no curtains" position in the half bath and the kitchen.
