    Deb, I guess I am not understanding what you mean about using one side of the feathers for a stem.

    Love it. Your choice of colours is great, I would shadow quit around him once and hen frame it. Can you tell me who the pattern is by would love to get a copy. Thanks

    What a handsome fellow....I would definitely quilt him, maybe even use thread with a bit of lustre (Roosters have such vibrant glossy feathers)....I am no expert, but I think it would make him even more imposing.
