    It was amazing to read how many other women get carsick! I agree a car ride is good for knitting if you are one who doesn't have to "look" at it as you go. I knit and watch tv, and have knitted on long car rides.

    How would you hold it in position while traveling? If you're going in a car, remember that there is very little leg room in the front seat? What size project would you be (trying) to work on? And what about the foot pedal to run the machine? Lots of things to consider. All in all, I think I would do handwork or read while traveling, and maybe take the machine for when you are stationary and have room to work.
