I have been buying some precuts. I don't feel like I am so good at putting colors together so the precuts are great for me.

Hi Dreamer! I use pre cuts and have a nice stash of them. I usually use them when I need a quick project. I have never had a problem with any of them.

Connecting Threads sells their pre cuts for exactly the cost of what that fraction of a yard would cost -- there are no markups for pre cuts. Their fabrics are beautiful, and the fabric is great, and those are the only pre cuts I will buy. I won't buy pre cuts from other sources because I can't see paying more. I've got 40 years of scraps that I'm still working my way through cutting up into the Bonnie Hunter sizes -- so I've got LOADS of my own pre cuts.

what are your favorite precuts ?

I pretty much only buy Moda jelly rolls, charm packs, and desert rolls. They are fun to shop for, they always coordinate and they are good material.

maybe it's because I get up fairly early.
I am in California also, I find that the Daily Deal is always posted by 10:00 p.m. the night before!

Ladies, I don't buy too many pre cuts but love the idea of them. How about some pictures? Should we start a thread in the picture folder for pre cuts?

regarding pics

should be fine to add them to this thread should anyone care to.
I am mostly interested in your purchasing of them only.

I prefer yardage. I have purchased scraps. - some were great deals - a couple of them were not!

Though I have yardage, I find that I am falling for pre cuts. I like quick projects so charms, jelly rolls, fqs, a well as my newest find candy charms are my quilters toys.
